As Metadata Analyst I participate in the following major projects for the Indiana University Libraries through the contributions listed:
- Developing Library Strategy for 3D and Virtual Reality Collection Development and Reuse
- Serve as co-Principal Investigator on this IMLS National Leadership Grant for Libraries project in cooperation with Virginia Tech and the University of Oklahoma. This grant investigates how libraries can systematically incorporate 3D collections into their digital collection workflow, how those collections may be offered and used by researchers and instructors, and how to manage long-term storage and preservation of 3D digital objects.
- Sharing IU collections to Digital Public Library of America (DPLA)
- Contribute Indiana University Bloomington collections to DPLA by feeding metadata mappings to Indiana Memory, the Indiana Service Hub. This service hub aggregates digital collections from cultural heritage institutions across the state for sharing to DPLA.
