- From W3C’s Web Accessibility Initiative:
"Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web. Web accessibility encompasses all disabilities that affect access to the Web, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. Millions of people have disabilities that affect their use of the Web. Web accessibility also benefits people without disabilities."
- From me:
Web accessibility means considering all abilities and disabilities when designing or choosing an online resource. Providing an online resource that is accessible improves the experience for everyone, including those with disabilities. Web accessibility is usability.
